Quick start

  1. Run the installer. It puts the VST3, the AU (macOS), and the standalone app where your host looks for them.
  2. Open GrindSub on an instrument track and play something around C1 to C2. You are hearing the Init patch: sub at -6 dB under a filtered, shaped saw.
  3. Turn Cutoff. Its readout is in semitones above the note you are playing, so “+24 st” means two octaves above the note, wherever the note is.
  4. Turn Resonance up. The readout beside it names the cutoff as an interval, and the filter’s peak lands on that interval, in tune, across the whole range.
  5. Step through the factory presets with the arrows in the header.

A fresh install runs as a trial: 14 days of use, everything working. After it ends the plugin still loads and still opens your projects; it stays silent until you register your license (see Registering, the trial, and updates).
