MOD row
Sources and targets
Section titled “Sources and targets”Three sources, one row each: the LFO, the Env (an ADSR), and the mod Wheel (CC1). Each row ends in the same four depth knobs, so a target reads straight down the panel:
- WT pos (-100 to +100 %): how far the source moves the wavetable position, as a share of the table.
- Cutoff (in semitones; -24 to +24 for the LFO and the wheel, -60 to +60 for the envelope): the same interval on every note.
- Res (-100 to +100 %): how far the source moves the resonance, as a share of its range.
- Drive (-100 to +100 %): how far the source moves the shaper’s Drive knob, as a share of its 0 to 36 dB range. A depth is knob movement, so a percentage here too.
Every target is clamped to its own knob: the knob’s position plus whatever the sources add is held to the knob’s range, so the cutoff never leaves the Cutoff knob’s -12 to +60 st, the table position never leaves the table, and the resonance and the drive never pass the ends of their knobs. While a note plays, a thin ring on the WT Pos, Cutoff, Resonance and Drive knobs shows how far the modulation has taken each one from where the knob sits.
A depth knob snaps to zero as a drag passes it, and Option-double-click (Alt on Windows) takes it to zero directly; plain double-click returns its default, which for Env to Cutoff is the +12 st pluck rather than zero.
There is no routing to set up: nothing to patch, only amounts. The Env’s ADSR and the LFO’s controls stay live whatever their depths, so a shape can be set before an amount is.
- LFO: Sync switches the Rate knob between Hz (0.02 to 20) and beat divisions (4/1 down to a 1/32 triplet, with dotted and triplet lengths between them; the knob runs slowest to fastest). Trigger: Note restarts the LFO on every note; Free runs it against the song position, synced or in Hz, so the same bar of your arrangement always hears the same phase and a bounce matches playback exactly. Shape: triangle, saw, square, or sine.
- Env: Attack, Decay, and Release (0 to 5000 ms) and Sustain (0 to 100 %). This is the pluck: by default it moves the cutoff by an octave.
- Wheel: the mod wheel itself is not a parameter; its four depths are. Every other control is a host parameter, so map your hardware to it in the host.
Amp envelope and tilts
Section titled “Amp envelope and tilts”- Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release: the same ADSR drives both paths, so sub and grind articulate together (the sub’s release can run longer via Rel Offset).
- Sub Tilt and Grind Tilt, -6 to +6 dB/oct: per-path gain that follows the played pitch around Tilt Pivot (default A2, readout shows the note name). Negative tilt makes low notes louder. The defaults are tuned so the Init patch plays level across the range. If your low E booms or your high C vanishes, reach for these before an EQ.
