DarkEffekt is a trade name of DarkIdentity, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company and the controller of the data described here. Contact contact@darkeffekt.com, or DarkIdentity, LLC, 8 The Green #26816, Dover, DE 19901, United States.
The site has no accounts, cart, or comments.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, gated on your choice in the cookie banner. In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland our legal basis for it is your consent, and we do nothing with it until you give it.
Before you choose, or if you decline, it stores nothing on your device and Google receives a page view carrying no identifier between visits. If you accept, it also sets cookies expiring within two years, so repeat visits register as the same browser.
Either way, Google receives your IP address. According to Google's documentation it derives a location no finer than a city and does not log or store the address. Analytics never shows the address to us. Advertising and remarketing features are permanently disabled. How Google handles data from sites that use its services is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Withdraw consent at any time through Cookie preferences in the footer. Your choice is stored in your browser and sent to nobody.
Correspondence
If you write to us, we keep the message and your address. This relies on our legitimate interest in answering people who write to us, not on consent. Our Discord server runs under Discord's privacy policy, not this one.
Providers
We use third parties to host the site, deliver mail, and run analytics. They process data only on our instructions. Analytics is Google Analytics, described above.
The software
This policy covers the website. The Audity package collects nothing and makes no network calls; its profiling tools write only to your own machine.
Buying Audity
Audity is sold through the Unity Asset Store, under Unity's privacy policy. We never receive your payment details. If you contact support, we may ask for your Asset Store invoice number to confirm a purchase; we keep it with the conversation. Asset Store links from here may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you; where one does, it is disclosed at the link.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
- No ads or advertising trackers.
- No profiling, automated decision-making, or identification of individual visitors.
- No social widgets, chat popups, or session recorders.
When we disclose data
Only when the law requires it, to establish or defend a legal claim, or to the providers above so they can do their job. If the business is sold or transferred, correspondence and analytics data go with it and this policy continues to apply to them.
Retention
Analytics data, 14 months. Correspondence, until the matter is closed and for up to two years after the last message, longer only if needed for a legal claim or a security disclosure record. Your consent choice, until you clear this site's data.
Where data goes
Processing happens in the United States; we and our hosting, mail, and analytics providers are US entities. Transfers from the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions) where the provider is certified under it, and otherwise on the standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards those providers maintain.
Your rights
Depending on where you live: to ask what personal data we hold about you, to receive a copy, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. Write to contact@darkeffekt.com. We may ask you to confirm you are who you say you are. We respond within 30 days, at no cost, and exercising a right changes nothing about how you are treated. If a request is unusually complex we may take longer and will tell you why. EEA and UK residents may also complain to their local supervisory authority.
Children
The site is not directed at children and we never ask a visitor's age. If we learn we hold information from someone under 16, we delete it.
Changes
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date above moves. A material change to how consent works resets the banner.
